Laika Communications GmbH (short: Laika Berlin) was founded in September 2018 by PR consultant Michaela Krause. Laika specializes in communications for game changing (technology) innovations and entrepreneurs. The agency consists of a team of permanent employees as well as a freelancer network of creative people, strategists and consultants. In addition to the classic corporate communications services, Laika provides its clients with numerous other services such as professional photography, influencer relations, crisis communications, media and speaker training. Laika works for clients such as Chatterbug, Raisin, Seedrs, SumUp, Viber and others and is centrally based in Berlin Mitte.

We are currently looking for experienced technology PR experts to join our growing team. You will work alongside your co-workers on a number of interesting accounts across different industries and company sizes. We will make sure that you have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally and personally.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ year experience in technology PR
  • Experience in campaign development and execution alike
  • Native German level and fluent in English
  • Excellent communications and writing skills
  • Great Ability and highly motivated to tell brand stories
  • Entrepreneurial drive and first interest in business development for a growing agency
  • Willingness to learn and to bring solutions to problems
  • A true team player attitude and a positive approach to challenges

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and execution of communications concepts and PR campaigns
  • Strategic advice for international clients from fast paced tech companies
  • Copywriting and storytelling, content development across channels
  • Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research
  • Evaluation and reporting of campaigns
  • Agency marketing and new business
  • Training of junior team members
