Finding a way to save is not easy for many. For Monkee founders, Martin, Christian and Jean-Yves, there was no way to save money digitally for their future, as well as their children’s future, so they started Monkee.
In the age of Klarna (a company that offers online payments through invoicing and “buy now pay later” (BNPL) options), Monkee wants to be the responsible alternative to the BNPL mindset. Monkee wants to be different from challenger banks or other budget apps in terms of functionality and exploring new avenues. Laika’s goal is to increase Monkee’s brand awareness in the DACH region. The team is responsible for Monkee’s B2C PR, corporate communications, media relations, planning, conception and implementation of communication measures, and strategic consulting in the DACH region.
