Campaign Agency of the Year Awards 2025: Laika shortlisted as “Best Place to Work”!

Who’s a good puppy? Apparently… us!

At Laika, tails are wagging hard right now — because for the first time in our seven-year existence, we’ve been nominated for one of the big industry awards: Campaign’s Agency of the Year Germany 2025, in the category Best Place to Work.
(Okay, full disclosure: it’s also one of the first times we actually applied. Turns out, you have to throw the ball if you want to fetch it.)

The Campaign Agency of the Year Awards celebrate the most creative, effective, and people-first agencies across Europe — from the big network players to the boutique gems. And somehow, tiny us found ourselves on the shortlist competing with industry legends like Serviceplan and Publicis. We’re not gonna lie — it’s both exciting and intimidating.

So, what got us there? We’re not entirely sure yet, but here’s what we think (and submitted):

🐾 100% employee advocacy (the German average is 56%)
🌟 Kununu rating 4.8, repeatedly among Berlin’s top employers (currently #7!)
💚 Wellbeing Index average 84% vs. a national average of 64%
🌍 Diversity by design: 10+ languages, one-third non-native Germans, ages 19–52 plus external industry veterans and mentors age 65+
🔁 360° feedback culture: from interns to CEO, with personal development via job crafting
📊 Heart + hard facts: daily pulse checks, quarterly wellbeing surveys, weekly retrospectives
📚 Lifelong learning: Internal Laikademys and external coaching alike - for every Space Dog
🧘‍♀️ Mindful perks: flexible work, sabbaticals, “Mindfulness Day”, coachings, and workations
💸 Transparency + impact: Access to business intelligence data for all crew members and up to 10% of our time donated to pro bono work
🐶 Boomerang colleagues: because people actually come back (voluntarily!)

Now, while we nervously iron our outfits and Google what “Smart Casual Chic” really means (seriously, help), we’re just happy to celebrate this small big win.

Keep your fingers and paws crossed for us — and thank you to everyone who made Laika what it is today.

Mission transcript over.
